When night falls, the world turns to shade, In the gentle embrace of darkness, we're laid. Stars twinkle above in the midnight sky, As the moon's silver beams bid the sun goodbye. The city lights shimmer like diamonds afar, Guiding lost souls like a celestial star. The secrets of day, now whispered in dreams, In the velvet night, nothing's quite as it seems. Creatures of darkness begin to emerge, Owls hoot, and crickets sing their dirge. The world slows down, finds a peaceful reprieve, In the stillness of night, we're free to believe. As the night deepens, our thoughts take flight, In the canvas of dreams, we paint with delight. When night falls, it's a magical trance, A dance with the cosmos, a sweet, silent romance.

A muse, elusive, a spark to ignite,  To dance through the darkness, to bring forth the light.  Silent contemplation, a moment's reprieve, In solitude's embrace, the soul can believe. A poet needs nature, its beauty untamed,  A wellspring of inspiration, from whence they are named. The seasons, the landscapes, the moon and the trees, They whisper their secrets to poets, with ease. A heart that feels deeply, both joy and despair,  To capture life's essence, its sweet, tender care.  For emotions, the raw and the real, are the source,  Of verses that resonate, with powerful force. A mentor, a guide, or a book that inspires,  To learn from the greats, as ambition aspires.  To grow and to evolve, through the words of the wise,  Is a gift every poet, in their journey...

I don't know how much I don't know much about the world that we live in But I know that my love for you will never diminish I may not know the answers to life's great mysteries But I know that your love is the greatest of all victories I don't know much about what the future holds But I know that with you, my heart will never grow cold Time may pass and circumstances may change But my love for you will always remain I don't know much about the ways of love and romance But I know that with you, my heart is taking a chance You have brought me happiness that I never knew existed And I know that with you, my love will always persist I don't know much about what tomorrow may bring But I know that with you, my heart will always sing For in you I have found a love that's true and pure And I know that with you, I will always be secure So though I may not have all the answers to life's great mystery  I know that with you, my love will be a lasting legacy

Nat and Pat, the dearest of friends Their bond so strong it never bends Two peas in a pod, they are always together Come rain or shine, they don't mind the  weather They met when they were just small In the playground, they stood tall Their giggles and laughter filled the air A friendship so pure, so rare Nat loves to sing, Pat loves to dance Their talents complement each other, it's  like a chance To always have someone to share with Their dreams, their fears, their every myth Nat and Pat, they grow up fast But their friendship forever lasts Through high school and college too Their love for each other always grew Now adults, they're still going strong Their friendship truly can't be wrong Nat and Pat, the dearest of friends Their bond so strong, it never ends.

Husbands, if you’ve ever thought,  “I just can’t figure her out”  maybe this can be a launching pad to deeper conversations with your spouse. I remember watching "What Women Want" not long after its release in 2001. The  movie chronicles a man, Nick Marshall, who receives a fresh perspective on  women after a fluke accident. And by “fresh perspective,” I mean he has the  ability to read women’s minds. Sounds fascinating, right? I thought so too. Then I watched the movie. Don’t get me wrong, I laughed quite often. But I was also terrified. I left  the theater with one of those “I just saw a ghost” looks. Totally dazed and  confused. For like two hours, I vowed never to date a woman again.
