Time To Let Go
In your bossom warmth and safety dwells
You brood over your young with a Lioness instinct
Raising them in the fear of the Lord
A pillar too strong for external forces to reckon with
But in our strength, our weakness is revealed
Our love ones we hurt the more when we over love
You meant no harm, it's a motherly instinct to care
But it's time to let go
The young shall grow
Into the wild they ought go, to find
themselves and glow
A battle non can fight for them
No! Not even a mother's love
So when the time is ripe
Just let it go without much of a hype
For fate has a clock for all things
Hold on for too long and the path of the young is derailed.
All experts were once amateurs
The school of life, the best nurturing institution ever
Its twist and turns, our experience to gain
Trust the process Mama, for its time to let go!
Poem dedicated to all our mothers!
