I Am

 

I AM

But easy going personality

With no room for carnality.

I wore my pride, 

Whilst enjoying life's ride.

The source of my inspiration.

I AM

But SIMPLE

My smiles I wore Just to show off my dimples,

Just a little complicated on the hind side.

Come to me with a bouquet of flowers

A blissful life you'll have

Come to me with hatred

And fury will see you out the door

Come to me with an ungodly chat

My mind I'll close on you!

I AM

But FIRM

The word "NO",

My trusted companion.

Which I use not out of convenience.

But to delay gratification,

Which offers but Pleasures for now.

I AM

But ROBUST

Your malice

won't break me

You're just unveiling the other side of me

Your backbites 

only gives me a firmer grip on life.

I AM

But GOLD

The desire of many

Yearning for a piece my lustre

But lacks the Patience and resilience to dig deep inside of me

Let alone lift a finger to help remove my ores.

I AM

But MORTAL

Flesh and Blood

With strength and weaknesses

But above all that,

I have a piece of God in me!
