They Say!




THEY SAY
"your entire life you can put in our hands"
"We're your Servants"
If so, then why do we rant
All day on radio and television
Just to defend our course and vision
In our eyes we do see militants
Raiding our scarce resources
Not thinking of the people's loses
Gathering wealth for themselves and generation unborn.

THEY SAY
"you matter"
"we matter"
"people matter"
Words, words, political words served on a silver platter
Words to massage our minds
To placate our souls and put us on cloud nine
Whilst they mooch us off our scarce resources
After all said and done
It's their party colors that matter.

THEY SAY!
"we are competent"
"those in charge are impotent"
This they made us believe
Our performing leaders from post we relieved Cos, chairman promised us heaven on earth
Now fuel prices are double high
With no room for relief to sigh
The torrential rains came
And from our rooms we go kayaking
Our throats are choked with bills and loosing breath.
Is this a sign of competency?
Never again.
Shall we make such a mistake insane.
